Olin Lester

Olin Lester grew up in Roanoke, Virginia, before joining the U.S. Army, where he served with 1st Ranger Battalion (175). He credits the men he served alongside with helping to forge him into the man he is today. After his military service, Olin spent 25 years with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, serving in a variety of assignments, including patrol, Street Crimes, Vice, SWAT, and as a police sniper. He finished his law enforcement career in the K-9 Unit, first partnered with his legendary patrol dog, Walker, and later with his bloodhound, Haso, specializing in locating missing persons. Today, Olin lives in Florida with his family, where he writes military apocalyptic thrillers, disaster fiction, and post-apocalyptic novels inspired by his experiences in service and law enforcement.
